The ODCA has further refined playing dates for the upcoming season.
Second and Third Grade are set to commence on 12 October, with 4th Grade (Centenary Cup) to start a week later on 19 October.
The Committee has also determined to not schedule any Second Grade or Lower Grade T20 matches on the Australia Day weekend, with 11 January to be used instead.
Starting times for the Second Grade T20 matches have also been confirmed, with the first match to be played at 12 noon followed by the second at 3:30pm. An extra half hour has been allowed between these matches to allow teams time to travel to their next match.
The date for the final of the lower grade T20 competition has also been brought forward a week, with a tentative 6:30pm start time at Wade Park.
The proposed schedule for the lower grade T20 competition is:
21 December
Rd 1 – 12:30pm
Rd 2 – 3:30pm
11 January
Rd 3 – 12:30pm
Rd 4 – 3:30pm
18 January
Rd 5 – 12:30pm
Playoff (3 v 4) – 4:00pm
Final – 6:30pm at Wade Park (subject to ground confirmation)
A copy of the draft season program is now available on our website. The number of rounds and length of finals series for the 2nd to 4th grade competitions is subject to change pending final team nominations.
